Discover the path to welcoming a furry companion into your home through US Dog Coalition & Rescue:

1. Application: Start by completing our adoption application.

2. Review and References: Once we receive your application, we'll evaluate any landlord restrictions (if applicable) and reach out to your vet. Since we are looking for the best fit for our dogs, we ask you give us at minimum 3 days to vet your application. Please note that homes with unaltered dogs will automatically be denied. We will contact your vet, please call your vet to give them permission to inquire about your personal pet's vaccination and heartworm prevention status. 

3. Meet & Greet: If your application is approved, you'll have the opportunity for a meet & greet. This can take place either at your home or the foster parent's residence. At US Dog Coalition & Rescue, we believe in creating perfect matches, and we base our adoptions on compatibility. It's not a first-come, first-served process; it's about finding the right fit for both you and the dog. We will inform you if you are not chosen to adopt one of our dogs, since you were approved as an adopter, you can then choose to meet with another available dog, or have your application placed in our "preapproved adopters" file. 

4. Final Steps: After completing the steps above, you'll receive a link to sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Rest assured, your new pet will be up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and spayed or neutered. Additionally, all our dogs are microchipped for their safety.
